We tried to but couldn't understand how many family members she lost. Um Ali went through one of the hardest days in her life, every time she hoped To find a survivor, she learns that they're dead. Her son Ali passed away along with his wife after he saved their children. She also lost her other son, his wife, her newly wed daughter and son in law. Now she has her grandchildren, among them is Ghazi who witnessed the death of his mother, father, and younger sister. It doesn't stop there, Um Ali lost her father, mother, sister, brother and his family. Every time we listen to her story we feel unimaginable helplessness. This video shows her story told by her.
