HART - Homeless Animal Rescue Team

HART was founded in November 2012 and is a non profit organisation & 100% voluntary, we have no paid staff. We rescue, rehabilitate and re home abandoned/pound dogs and stray cats if owners can not be found, they are wormed, de flead, fully vaccinated & chipped by our vets and adults are also neutered prior to re homing. If an animal needs special vet treatment we pay for that also, every animal in our care gets the treatment they need to let them lead a happy and healthy life. Home visits apply before an animal can be adopted and we offer a trial period as it takes time for pets to settle, we also have a neuter agreement in place that pups are neutered by the date we put on our contracts. We are foster based but we do have to use private boarding kennels which we pay for as not enough foster homes available.
