Our mission is to save lives and improve the livelihood of the most vulnerable in our community.
The Lebanese Red Cross is a national society that serves 1 million beneficiaries per year. The Lebanese Red Cross is the sole Emergency Medical Services provider in Lebanon, and provides more than around 40% of blood units in Lebanon. Both of these vital national services are provided for free. Since 1945, the Lebanese Red Cross responds to all kinds of emergencies in Lebanon for free. The Emergency medical services and all other services of the Lebanese Red Cross are offered for free in Lebanon. The organization has more than 8,000 volunteers out of which 3700 are in the EMS division.
