The "Transform Your Classroom" project by Fundación Corazón Raíz aims to revolutionize the learning conditions in the indigenous communities of Zongolica, Veracruz. Our goal is to enhance the educational infrastructure in four schools, creating safe and stimulating learning environments. By providing renovated classrooms equipped with essential resources like school furniture and reading corners, we aim to reduce educational lag and improve academic performance.
In addition, we are introducing agroecological classroom models to promote agricultural sustainability, thereby enhancing the quality of life for students and their families. Schools in Zongolica face challenges such as deteriorated classrooms, lack of sanitary facilities and limited materials that hinder educational opportunities.
