Mercy Home has served kids in crisis in Chicago since 1887. From our humble beginnings as a shelter for homeless boys, Mercy Home has developed into a holistic home that addresses not only the basic needs of our young men and women, but also their therapeutic, behavioral, and academic needs. At our West Loop Campus and our Walsh Girls Campus in Beverly, we provide overarching support to help our young people heal and grow in all aspects of their lives.
Mercy Home's goal is to save young lives by providing: a safe, nurturing residential treatment home; Community Care support for former residents and their families; community-based and site-based mentoring; therapeutic, educational, vocational, spiritual and life skill development; and raising awareness and advocating for youth in need. We carry out our objectives from two locations: our West Loop Campus and our Walsh Girls Campus in Beverly. Through the holistic care we provide at these locations, young people are able to find safe, nurturing spaces to heal, as well as receive comprehensive support critical for future success.
