MAKE-A-WISH OF NEBRASKA

Each year hundreds of children are diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions. In an instant, lives are forever changed. Carefree days spent laughing with friends are put on hold as children are catapulted into a strange and unfamiliar world filled with doctor's appointments, countless tests and great uncertainty. Each and every one of these children deserves a wish. They deserve a chance to be a child and put aside the harsh realities of their life-threatening diagnosis. We provide these children and their families with a much-needed dose of hope strength and joy. There are 4 categories of wishes: I Wish to Be, I Wish to Have, I Wish to Meet and I Wish to Go.
Some examples of wishes include:
I Wish to be a Pop Star
I Wish to Have a backyard playstructure
I Wish to meet WWE Wrestler John Cena
I Wish to Go to Disney World

We strive to provide the child's one true wish and each wish is designed specifically for that child.
