IDEP is dedicated to enhancing community resilience by promoting local resource sovereignty, preserving culture and environment, enhancing capacities, and strengthening strong partnerships with various parties.
The Need
To strengthen the resilience of Indonesian communities due to socio-economic issues, environmental crisis, disaster, and inequalities, ultimately those with limited access to development.
The Solution
To address socio-economic, environmental crises, disaster, and inequalities, IDEP delivers these strategies: 1. Permaculture for sustainable livelihoods. 2. Community disaster management. 3. Capacity building via training. 4. Public education through creative media.
Our Impact
By increasing capacities (knowledge, attitude, and practice) on designing sustainable ecosystems based on a permaculture approach, the community is expected to address their challenge using their local resources, improving their resilience in every aspect.
