Medical Care: Affordable medical care is a plaguing concern in rural India. South Gujarat ranks among the poorest in the state, grappling with severe poverty, malnutrition, illiteracy and lack of awareness of health related issues. Premature deliveries, physical and mental disabilities, vulnerability to diseases, and non-adherence to basic hygiene standards are common. Our comprehensive Medical Care program provides quality care free or at highly subsidized rates.
Educational Care: Education is the foundation for upliftment of mankind. Despite rapid economic progress, a disturbingly large percentage of India suffers from illiteracy. By giving them food and shelter, their basic needs may be taken care of, but a gift of education provides stability, dignity and financial independence. Educational Care program endeavors to provide needy children with education, and programs designed for overall development.
Humanitarian Care: With growing population, economic disparity is inevitable. Poverty, loneliness, hunger, illness, homelessness and resulting uncertainty, fear and suffering is a bitter reality. Our Humanitarian Care program endeavors to turn this tide of hopelessness into a wave of love, hope, security, and a better future for our fellow beings by providing physical, emotional and vocational support to those who need it most.
Humanitarian Care: From hygiene kits to food drives, SRLC-USA provides essentials such as healthy food, sanitary items, and clothes to the homeless, elderly, terminally ill and underprivileged members of society.
