CLARKSTON FAMILY DISCOVERY FARM

In service of our mission we educate, inspire and engage each year thousands of learners of all ages and abilities. As a working farm our educational programs, including camps, classes, workshops clubs and community events, are the vehicle by which we support core curriculum like next generation science standards. All learners, regardless of their age or ability will find a place at the Clarkston Family Farm. Run almost entirely by volunteers in our community we work with hundreds of scouts, master gardeners, students, faith communities and seniors to offer unique award winning curriculum and programs that serve our mission and the whole child. We know that the nature of childhood is changing, there is no nature in it! Our farm leverages the natural joy and wonder of interacting with farm animals, growing and eating fresh produce and creating with hands-on learning to unlock the inherent connection and value we hold for the natural world.

We have a saying at our farm, "You will only love and value what you know and you will only know what you are taught" We have been blessed to work with thousands of kids from all walks of life to help teach them, through positive experiences, the value of nature and sustainability.

As we like to say at the farm, " We dig it!" and "Many hands make light work" Your contribution, no matter the size, helps us serve this important mission.
