A landmark partnership between TAP Charity and their alma mater TSEC (Thadomal Shahani Engineering College) to provide essential financial support for deserving students.
The program specifically targets students from families earning 5-6 Lakh rupees (or less) annually who face significant barriers to affording the 2 Lakh rupee tuition fees.
Our TAP Scholarship effort has found its true purpose in supporting students facing financial difficulties in paying the TSEC Engineering fees. TAP itself having been born out of the connective tissue of – which is our alma mater “TSEC – Thadomal Shahani Engineering College” – it is a full circle moment for us now to be able to contribute in some small way to help one or more students journey for their foundation for their future engineering career.
While this was always a desire for TAP founding members (going back to 2020), Mrs. Sheela Nain Shah – another alumni of TSEC help bring this to the forefront again. And, what began as a discussion, an idea has now turned into a common purpose for Hyderabad Sind National Council (HSNC), TSEC, and TAP Charity to put this into action. In this regard, we have successfully provided tuition assistance to 18+ students in the year 2025. We are now in the early phases of operationalizing financial support totaling up to $10,000.00 for the academic year 2026-2027 for the eligible students and amounts selected by TSEC (up to and not to exceed $10K across all students supported).
