State of the Global LGBTIQ Human Rights Movement - Show Your Support to Global Activists with Outright International

Outright International’s State of the Movement presentation is a flagship offering designed to inform, engage, and mobilize Outright's partners and their employees around the global movement working to advance LGBTIQ human rights. This dynamic session provides an in-depth overview of Outright’s mission, impact, and global reach - highlighting the breadth of our thematic and advocacy programs that advance LGBTIQ human rights worldwide. The presentation offers a timely, data-informed analysis of the current state of the global LGBTIQ movement, spotlighting key victories, setbacks, and emerging threats, with insights broken down by regional context to ground the discussion in local realities.

In addition to contextualizing the challenges and opportunities facing the movement today, the presentation serves as a call to action, outlining tangible ways to engage with and support Outright’s work and participate in a volunteer opportunity to share messages of support to Outright’s global activist partners via KudoBoard.

Participants: This project will be hosted by an Outright International representative. We can offer 1 facilitated session in October for teams with 15+ participants.

Location:
This will be a virtual presentation that employees from any global context can join.

Facilitation:
Available as hosted by an Outright International staff member (minimums apply)

Duration:
This activity will last 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Presentation will be scheduled in collaboration with a Microsoft Giving Champion

Geographic Reach: Outright International partners with global human rights defenders, activists, and organizations in every corner of the globe to advance the human rights of LGBTIQ people around the world.

Funding Required: $1000 honoraria

Volunteers are encouraged to leave messages of support for Outright’s global activists and stakeholders via Kudoboard
