About this Giving Opportunity
My twin babies were born 10 weeks premature and spent the first 6 weeks of their life at the NICU in Holles St. I will always be grateful for the dedication of the team there. I was lucky I lived in Dublin - this NICU takes in babies from all over the country who's parents can't necessarily be there by their side every day. I would like to raise money for the NICU to contribute to support services for parents - from comfortable chairs which might also be feasible to sleep in, to perhaps the provision a small kitchenette that parents could use to make a cup of tea.
