100km run for Children Cancer Warriors (2nd round!)

Here we go again! Another year, another try :)

On May 11th, I will attempt to complete a 100km ultra marathon race in Snowdonia, North Wales. With 6,400m of cumulative elevation, unpredictable weather, and challenging terrain, it is considered one of the toughest 100km races.

I have never done such a distance, and I will aim to complete the course in less than 32 hours – yes that’s more than one full day and one full night running in the Welsh mountains!

Last year, in the Spanish Pyrénées, I had to abort my first attempt at such a distance after 70km because of (very) bad weather in the mountains – the race was stopped by the organisers. Hoping Mother Nature will be more accommodating this time around!

Again I will be raising funds for Cancer Warriors Philippines, a charity dedicated to children battling cancer in the Philippines. This charity helps with medical services, psychosocial support, and education for these children and their families.
