NYC Half Marathon: Running for David Hardy

I am running this year’s NYC half marathon for my father, David Hardy.  My dad has exhibited incredible resilience in his battle with Alzheimer’s.  While this disease has had a deep impact on my dad and our family, I am constantly impressed by his positive attitude and unconditional love he has for the people around him.  

I’m excited to support CaringKind in its mission to provide access to free caregiving services and spread awareness on Alzheimer’s.  Caregiving is often overlooked when thinking of Alzheimer’s, so I am particularly honored to be supporting an organization with such an impact for not only the patients but also those most closely affected by it.
