This Giving Tuesday, Women at LinkedIn and Social Impact are raising funds for HCSA Dayspring, that provides residential care and ongoing support for young women recovering from trauma. Since 2006, Dayspring has provided a structured, therapeutic residential setting where residents receive safety, counselling, routine, and support to continue their education.

However, the need for support does not end when they leave residential care.

Former residents become part of Owena, Dayspring’s alumni community. “Owena” means young warriors in Welsh — a reflection of their resilience and determination as they rebuild their lives. Through the alumni program, Owenas receive practical, ongoing support including check-ins, peer networks, educational and employment guidance and help during crises. This ensures they are not left without a stable support system as they transition back into school, work or family life.

Your donation this Giving Tuesday helps sustain this continuity of care — from essential needs and mentorship to skills development and crisis intervention. This support strengthens the path toward stable, independent futures for these young women.

Thank you for helping us stand behind Dayspring’s young warriors as they move forward.
