About this Giving Opportunity

We know that it takes all of us to make a difference for our communities. Every action—whether individually or as a team—drives meaningful change. For Singapore’s 60th anniversary, let's “Do One Thing” to celebrate this milestone by giving back to our community.

For SG60, LinkedIn is partnering with the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) to help connect the local community to greater economic opportunity. NVPC promotes volunteerism and philanthropy, supporting over 600 nonprofits across the country. Through this partnership, we aim to position LinkedIn as a committed community partner—leveraging our platform and people to inspire others to give back.

This Giving Opportunity supports our Charity Auction Gala on 5 June at the Singapore office. Our goal is to raise S$30,000, which LinkedIn will match to reach a total of S$60,000 in donations to three NVPC-supported causes featured below:

Featured Nonprofits:

  1. TomoWork: Tomowork empowers individuals with special needs and disabilities by providing skills training, confidence-building, and access to inclusive work environments. With your support, these individuals gain greater access to meaningful employment—helping to build a more inclusive workforce and a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
  2. Children’s Aid Society: Every child deserves a safe space to grow, heal, and dream. Children’s Aid Society supports young people from adverse backgrounds through therapeutic care, education, and life-skills development—helping them rebuild trust, resilience, and hope. Your support helps open doors that many of these young individuals might not otherwise have access to.
  3. Daughters of Tomorrow: Daughters of Tomorrow supports women and single mothers from low-income households by equipping them with job readiness training, confidence-building, and employment bridging. With your support, these women gain access to meaningful work opportunities—empowering them to build stable, independent futures for themselves and their families.

These three causes represent diverse and vital focus areas within community and workforce development. They align closely with LinkedIn’s vision to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce—especially those who need it most.

Thank you so much for considering this opportunity to give back. If you have any questions or would like to discuss ideas, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
